Chapter 66

Luke woke up naked, and in the wheelchair, he saw Alice silently as if holding something back. Luke's breath catches, and his memory is thrown at last night's incident when he was about to return home. His car had a puncture; unfortunately, there was no spare tire.

Luke stood outside the car with his hands on his hips. He knew this location was closer to his brother's house.

Luke also decided to leave his car and started walking back to Kenzi's house.

He rang the bell, and Kenzi opened the door.

"My car has a flat tire, it's too far to go home, so I'm staying here tonight," he said as he stood up.

Kenzi shifted so his sister could enter, "Come in!" he said, then locked the door, "no room vacant."

"I slept on the couch," Luke said lightly.

"If you're thirsty, get it yourself in the kitchen. I want to see Kenra first!" Kenzi needed more time to tidy up the blanket when the doorbell rang.
