Chapter 4: Get Revenge

When we finally arrived at Harold’s house, I was surprised to see it. Because it wasn’t just a simple house, but a villa! From the outside, there was an average size modern house with black and white color. There aren't many decorations aside from the pool and a garden. 

“I didn’t see your villa that night. Now I realized how beautiful your villa is,” I said while looking at his villa

Harold glanced at me. “Yeah, we’re busy kissing that night. You didn’t see my house.”

I almost choked from my own saliva upon hearing that. He was right about that, we were too busy kissing each other that night and… of course, I was tipsy!

As soon as we entered his house, that’s when I appreciated the simplicity and beauty of it. Just like on the outside and in his bedroom, it was all black and white. A minimalist style for a guy like him. And what made the house lighten up is when I heard a dog.

A white pomeranian runs towards Harold. The puppy barks at him as it wiggle its tail.

“Whoa! Is that your dog?” I ask excitedly.

“Yes, she is. Her name is Susie,” Harold replied. He sat down and then took the dog into his arms before he stood up. “Oh my Susie, did you miss your Daddy?”

Harold slowly scratched Susie’s fur and they looked so good together. While looking at them like this, they were so cute. I didn’t know that Harold was such a softie when it comes to dogs.

“I always wanted a pet dog but my mother hates puppies.”

“You didn’t know how to take care of dogs like her?”

“Hmm, maybe I could use social media to know more about them?”

“That’s good to know. Take care of her for me,” Harold said.

“Really? I could take care of her?” I asked, excited.

“Yes! My friend already left after leaving Susie here earlier.”

“Oh! So I am going to be her Mommy?”

“Ahuh, you will. So… I have work today, can I leave her here with you?”

“Yes! Of course, you can trust me!”

“If you need to know something just call me, alright?”

I nodded. I excitedly took Susie from him. For a second, I thought that she wouldn’t like me but no, she licked my hand and then barked at me like she likes me too.

“I like you too!” I smiled.

After Harold took a quick shower, he already left with his attached case. He didn’t tell me where he was going but it seemed like he had business to attend to. 

While playing with Susie, I decided to roam around the house. I went to the kitchen, to the living room, guest room and even to the laundry room. Until I entered a mini office here inside of his house.

I put Susie down on the floor. “You can play! Go!”

Susie ran around the office and I smiled. Before I stood up and looked around the mini office. There are three bookshelves here. Behind the desk table was the shelf where frames with the awards and certificates were displayed. And on the other side, books are lined up. As I walked towards the bookshelves, I saw the medical books that were displayed there. There are a lot of them…

I wonder, what is his job?

I’m sure Barbara knows! 

I slipped my hand inside the pocket of my jeans to get my phone and dialed Barbara’s number. Not that long, she answered the call.

“Hello, Selina? What’s up?”

“Hey, I just want to ask something about Harold…” I started.

“Harold? Gerald’s Uncle?”

“Yes! I want to ask what he does for a living?”

“Well, he’s a surgeon and he’s a famous one. To be honest, I didn’t know why you didn’t know about him when everyone is talking about how good he was. Why did you ask anyway? Don’t tell me something happened between you?”

“Yeah, you’re right, we had a one night stand.”

“What the heck, really?! I didn’t know that you'd move on from Gerald right away!”

“I haven’t moved on from him yet. But I am planning to get my revenge because of what he did to me. Is he really his Uncle?”

“Oh God, I thought you weren’t serious that night!” she exclaimed. “Yes, he’s Gerald’s Uncle. Girl, you must look into social media, there are lots of articles about them!”

“Why didn’t I know that?” I raised my brow.

“Because you were busy working your ass off for your father’s company! You even thought that he would favor you! You’re such a good daughter!”

“Can you stop talking about how I was totally ruined?” I asked.

“Alright, alright! But I’m sure about Harold and Gerald’s relationship. Harold is Gerald’s Uncle.”

“Alright, I believe you. I’ll try searching on the web too.”

“That’s good to hear but… be careful, alright? You don’t have to use someone to get your revenge…”

“I know…”

To be honest, I wanted to back out from my plan to use Harold for my revenge. However, I’m here now and we’ve already got married so there’s no turning back. I can’t take back the marriage that we had until I got my revenge towards Gerald. Once I get my revenge, I will talk to Harold and ask for a divorce.

I put Susie on her crib and let her play with her balls inside of it before I started cleaning the house. I am planning to start posting photos and videos online to let Gerald see that I am happy and have moved on. And then, once I got his attention, I will reveal that Harold was my husband! I’m sure he will get mad!

But as I was cooking, I ruined my clothes with the sauce! The clothes I have haven't dried up yet after I do the laundry and so I decided to borrow Harold’s clothes and put them on.

“I got an idea!” A sly smile curved into my lips and then took my phone to take a photo of myself.

After that, I posted it on my social media and made sure that it was in public so Gerald could see it. Then I went back to the kitchen to continue what I was doing. I was busy cooking when I heard that the door opened. I smiled, it was almost done!

“What smell was that? I smelled something yummy!” he said.

As he entered the kitchen, I looked up at him and then smiled. “Hey, come on! Taste it!”

“Alright, coming!”

He put his attached case on the chair together with his coat and then walked towards my direction. But when he stood beside me, I noticed him looking into my body.

“Oh, it’s your shirt! Sorry that I borrowed it. All of my clothes are still wet,” I explained.

“Sure, it’s fine. You look good with my shirt on,” he smiled. Then his eyes scanned me from head to toe. “But I think you’re better without anything on…” he murmured.

Then he leaned towards me. My eyes widened as his rough palm landed on my hips down to my legs. I swallowed hard as he started to move it up and down while he pressed himself against my ass.

“H-harold…” I called him.

“Hmm, yeah?” He nuzzled on my neck and then sniffed my scent. “You smelled so good, babe…”

“I… I’m…” I stuttered. To be honest I liked the way he was touching me. But I wasn’t sure if this was right so I quickly turned off the stove and then moved away from him. “I’m sorry, I need to get something in my room!”

With that, I ran away from him and went to my room only to stop myself from blushing! Darn, how is he so good at seducing me? I should’ve been the one that was doing that!
