Chapter 8: Restaurant

I already lost all my hope that I could survive this when the drunk man pushed me on the ground. Even though I tried to crawl away from him, I wasn’t able to escape when he pinned me down. My body was trembling, my heart was beating so fast. I still tried to beg for mercy but they seemed to be out of their minds.

When he was about to lower his head to kiss me, someone took him away from me. He pulled the man up and then punched him in the face. I was terrified, I couldn’t see what was happening properly but I knew that the man was punching them. Until he defeated them all by himself.

That’s when I realized who it was. It was Harold. He helped me get up from my feet while I still cry because of fear.

“Are you OK? Why are you here anyway? God, Selina! You made me worry!” he exclaimed.

And because he shouted at me, I quickly ran away from him. I even heard him call me but I didn’t look back. When I finally reached my car, I hopped in and drove my way to Barbara’s house. I have nowhere
