Chapter 18

It was the day of opening of the new branch of Silver Star Supermall. Francis’ family restaurant caters for the event. Sunny and Francis find time to be alone with each other. Francis tries to kiss her but Sunny pushes him and tells him that this isn’t right as they both are married to another. She goes out to find Monroe humiliated. She helps him and shields him from others who try to harm him. Monroe discovers again how she fell in love with Sunny and how she became his first love.

“Rise and shine, Sunny. It’s already nine in the morning.” A half-naked man approached me in the bed and kissed me on my forehead.

“Good morning, Francis?” I said while half-asleep.

“Francis? Mrs. Silvestre are you really calling your husband by another man’s name?” Hindi siya makapaniwala sa narinig niya mula sa akin.
