FOREIGN LAND.

The hit from a strong light source on my face brought me consciousness, my eyes popped open abruptly only to be met by the hostile brightness then shut back instantly to be shielded by my hands for shade impulsively. With my hand as a lee over my eyes, I opened my eyes a second time; now ever slowly to a blurry vision but with enough focus to realise I was in an unknown environment. I robbed my orbs frantically for a while to make my vision more trust worthy.

After some time, much clarity was obtained and with a little familiarisation of my location, I got to know it was the sun peeping from a small octagonal opening beautifully decorated by tiny winding plants of green and flowers of different colors such as purple, pink, yellow and white; with white being the dominating one of all, they were more like growing from where it sprouts than just stuck up there. It was the peep hole through which the astonishing golden brown bright light that had woke me up came through.

"That's new?!"
