144. "Her Redemption"

Olive’s POV

“Aaron is fine,” Griffin shared the good news.

Hearing that, my knees gave in, and I fell, sitting on the bench near Aaron’s hospital room.

Anna sat beside me and patted my back. Meanwhile, Asmund asked Griffin, “Was he really poisoned?”

I looked up at Griffin and listened to his answer.

“Yes. It seemed he took the poison before the fight. Fortunately, he was strong. If he had been a little bit late, the poison might have taken his life. And…”

Griffin couldn’t continue his words as Asmund grabbed his collar. “YOU SH*T. ARE YOU F*CKING SURE THAT YOU WEREN’T INTO IT? You were so desperate to win this fight and steal Olive once again. I wouldn’t doubt that you planned this with the Elders.”

However, Anna disagreed, “I don’t think so.” Everyone’s gazes turned to Anna. She stood up and explained, “Look at him right now, Asmund.”

Asmund let go of Griffin’s collar and observed his situation. He was wounded, and some parts of his body were bleeding.
