140. "Even Without My Memories"

Olive’s POV

Aaron’s insistence made me feel uneasy about suddenly wearing a wedding dress. However, I reluctantly agreed and put on the stunning white gown. As the serving lady pulled back the curtain, I prepared myself for Aaron’s reaction.

His eyes widened at first, but then a gentle smile spread across his face. “You look beautiful in it, my dear wife,” he said.

Blushing, I couldn’t meet his gaze and felt the warmth on my cheeks.

“It looks great on her, Sir Aaron,” the serving lady remarked. “Although, we’ll have to make some alterations to the dress. It’s a tad too large for her.”

“Really?” Aaron responded.

I interjected, “Hmm, there’s no need to adjust it for my size. I don’t even plan on...”

...wearing it. That’s what I wanted to say. However, Aaron interrupted me and suggested, “Then, let’s change the size. We might find a use for it in the future.”

I have to despise the idea of marrying him again, but I couldn’t say anything in response.
