LUCIEN’S POV

“What?”

Alisha was right. Fate had a wicked way of playing me as just when I was about to get comfortable, something new shook me out of that comfort zone.

And out of all the things I expected Alisha to say, suggesting us finding a way to swap our bodies back to normal was the least one I expected.

It might have crossed my mind a couple of times but suddenly been faced with the possibility, I realized I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t sure and definitely wasn’t confident enough to have just a huge task on me again.

“To swap our bodies?” I uselessly repeated. “Why?”

“What do you mean why?” She chuckled as she gestured. “Can we stay like this forever? How much longer do you think we can be like this for? I mean, Camila and Kane already suspect us. How much longer do you think it’s going to take before more people start suspecting us? Don’t you think the best thing for us to do at the moment is to look for a way to return back to our individual selves?”
