CHAPTER 44

LUCIEN’S POV

The following morning, I started my day with a headache.

It was all thanks to me not getting even a wink of sleep the entire night and as much as I wanted to blame it all on Alisha, I knew it was just my fault. If there was anyone to be blamed other than myself, then it was my wolf.

After much thinking, I finally arrived at a conclusion. I was going to find a way to apologize to Alisha but more than anything, I was going to find a way to protect the pack from my side.

After all, to be fair, I wasn’t completely powerless. Though I was no longer Alpha, I was still the Luna. One the people around me loved and respected so however little it was going to be, I was going to make a difference.

I skipped breakfast and got freshened up as quickly as possible. But as soon as I was done, I didn’t head straight to the Omega training camp as usual. Neither did I head straight to the Alpha’s office to meet Alisha.
