Chapter 9: love struck Katie

Katie was at the coffee house when Lola arrived at nine, She seems to be a little chippier than her usual self, they hugged and kissed, then she sat down opposite her and they chatted over coffee, Katie reiterated what she had said on her text earlier, that she wants her to make the cake herself because it is for a special dinner, she said dreamily. Lola laughed at her friends childish attitude, she looks really silly. “Of course I shall do what you ask your highness” she said still laughing. And what is this special dinner that you seem to be so excited about hmmm!! anything I need to know? Something you wanna share? Tidbits here and there?”

“well, not really, I don’t want to spoil anything. do you remember what I told you last time? He is finally back, My parents and I are invited over for dinner, actually originally it was just my mom and dad, but I asked my mom to mention that I
