Chapter 3

Bella started to get ready for the date. She was supposed to meet the guy in the restaurant and then leave for the cabin in the woods. At the thought of going on a dinner date she felt guilt seep through her as she was still wearing her wedding ring on her finger.

She tried to remember when was the last time she and George went on a date. Soon she came out of her train of thoughts when she heard her boys come in gasping. 

The boys knew that their mother was beautiful but she never dressed up during the last 7 years because of her husband being ill. Bella turned around to look at her boys when she noticed their eyes filled with tears.

She ran and hugged asking the reason behind the tears. The boys came out of their trance and Samuel said, "Mom, it's so nice to look at you like this, you look gorgeous" and Samson nodded looking at her.

Both hugged her and let her get in her old car to leave for the restaurant. Bella went to the restaurant which was in a beautiful cottage-like place which had a pleasant feel to it. She went to the reception and asked about a reservation which was under her name. 

She went in following the floor manager and sat at the reserved table. She was looking around and taking in her surroundings which she liked very much. She looked like she was in a trance and turned around when she heard a throat being cleared.

It was her blind date for the night. She knew the man was her massage client Mr. Dominic who was the owner of a multi-billionaire company. He cleared his throat and said, "Isabella, you look gorgeous" in a deep sultry voice.

Isabella smiled at the compliment and said, "Thank you Mr. Dominic, you look good as always".

Nicholas waved his hand and said, "Just Nicholas,Isabella, just Nicholas"

They sat in silence which was not awkward because Nicholas was one of the few good men Bella has encountered in her lifetime.

She was comfortable around him but there was still a little bit of awkwardness because she never in her dreams thought that her massage client would be her blind date.

She broke the silence and asked Nicholas how he knew Adrianna. Nicholas replied that Adrianna was his cousin. They both ordered food and kept having small talks here and there during the entire meal.

When it was time for ordering the dessert Bella said that it was a great dinner but she cannot accompany him to the cabin in the woods because she never goes on a date with her clients and is against her business policy.

Hearing this Nicholas spoke to her in a warm tone to give him a chance. But Bella did not budge, when he was about to say something their dessert came and they ate in silence. The bill was settled and they went out when a fresh breeze of air hit them. The air was a bit chilly. Bella went to her car but was stopped by Nicholas, who had his hand on her wrist and tugged her towards him. 

Nicholas phoned his personal assistant with his other hand and said, "Claire, cancel all my massage sessions with Isabella Woods, she'll no longer be my masseuse" and cut the call, still holding Bella. He breathed heavily, smelling her sweet smell and said, "Isabella, you are no longer my massage therapist, now we can continue the date and give me a chance."
