Chapter 7

Nicholas popped the question which he has been wanting to ask Bella from the beginning. He asked about her husband, George Woods. Bella felt like suddenly someone punched her in the guts. She moved away from him and took deep breaths in and out. Nicholas was worried when he saw the reaction from her.

He said it was alright if she does not want to talk about him but Bella shook her head no and started telling him about George. She has not talked to anyone about him after his death. Nicholas had his entire focus on Bella to notice all the little details she does, like biting her lips when she's nervous or when she plays with her fingers when she's shy.
