Chapter 2

The girls left the club to Bella's house. Maddie opened her car boot to pick up a bag and a basket.

The bag was filled with things she needed for her date. 3 new pairs of lacy innerwears, 2 matching nightdresses and 3 cute dresses in pastel shade that complimented her skin.

The basket was filled with 2 whisky bottles with diet cokes and cupcakes and chicken fries. They went to Bella's bedroom and kept the bag in the closet and opened the whisky bottle and drank with the disposable cups and ate cupcakes and chicken fries.

When Bella woke up she saw her room was a mess and saw a note attached to the alarm clock. The girls were not there when she looked around, so she turned and took the note which read," Bella, be ready for the date and sorry mess. Maddie and Adrianna xoxo"

With a heavy sigh she started to clean the mess and went down to the kitchen and saw her son Samuel making breakfast and Samson reading a book.

With a kiss on both of their foreheads she said, " Adrianna and Maddie have arranged a blind date for me this Friday ".

There was a pregnant pause in the room, while she was waiting for their reply, she smelt the food burning. She turned around, went near the stove and threw the burnt food. She started making pancakes when Samson said, " It's okay mom, go on a date and give yourself a break".

Bella breathed and turned around to give them their breakfast and smiled. Samuel came to her and hugged her and said," Mom, go ahead and give yourself a break. You've been working days and nights since Papa left us. You need this outlet mom. We'll never judge you for going on a date. You need to be happy too.  We're fine, we have our part-time job and school. Go out and have fun".

When he completed saying this Bella was full on crying and the boys understood because they had seen their mom working really hard and not taking care of her and only them. The boys came hugging her when she stopped crying.

The boys wanted their mom to smile without a hint of tiredness or her thinking about their problems for once.

The boys left for school and Bella was thinking how her boys have grown up to be understanding and remarkable young adults.

Her phone notification brought her out of her thoughts, she checked the message from Adrianna that said," You will be going on a dinner date and spend the weekend in the woods with your date, so bring along the bag in your closet with you Bella. xoxo"

Bella sighed after reading the message and went into the closet to bring out the bag and pack it with necessities. She wanted to look good on this date, she felt like this when she was young and free without the thoughts of deadlines of loans and medical bills.
