Evie chest was tight, and she was having trouble breathing. Maybe because she didn't get enough sleep last night, she won't lie this time. Last night she floated around like a spirit that didn't know the way home. Not that she didn't try to sleep, but she always ended up having a bad dream, she woke up right after.
It was still the middle of the night, sweat dripping from every inch of her skin. It took me a few minutes to figure out that she was in her own room, the safest place she could be. They hit me pretty hard this time.
She can't imagine what it will be like when she get to school in a few hours. If only she could explain to all her friends what happened yesterday, what really caused the whole seminar to fall apart.
