It's been weeks since Nayla found out about her husband. Nayla patted Kally as she rested on her lap.

They were both enjoying each other's company, in the warm afternoon, inside Kally's room.

"I'm sorry, my husband caused you so much pain. I will do everything within my strength to make it up to you" Nayla said, stroking her head softly.

"It's not your deed, Nayla. At least, I'm lucky to meet a good being like you, since the past few days. You're truly good Nayla" was Kally's soft reply.

"Don't say that, I'm not perfect. I only wish the best for everyone around me, since my arrival here, I have longed for my friends and I think I found them in you" Nayla said, smiling

"Then I am lucky to be called your friend, Nayla. Thanks for helping me get out of my traumatizing past. I had never thought I'd forget about those memories" Kally almost teared up

"I'm happy that you're forgetting about it, please don't try to remember it. Do you want to go out for a walk?" Nayla suggested.
