•2•Dream Of Her

ADAM'S POV

Four Months Later

“Ah! Yes!”

“Fuck.”

“God, I love how you fuck me.”

“God, I could fuck you forever.

“Yes. Just like that. I'm so close.”

I continued thrusting into the warm depths of her pussy, loving how her walls gripped me so perfectly like they were made just for me.

Her fingernails dug so hard into my back that I'm sure it must've drawn blood, but I didn't care. The pleasure from having my cock so deep inside her was all I cared about.

“Oh my God, I can't… I can't… I'm going to cum.” She breathed, her amber eyes glazing over with pleasure.

“Yes. I'm close too. Cum for me, baby. Now!”

Just like that, her body obeyed my command and unraveled. She screamed as her orgasm tore through her, her body thrashing. I wanted to hold on a little longer and fuck her some more, but her walls clamping down on my cock made me cum immediately.

I slumped on top of her as we both breathed heavily, trying to catch our breaths after the intense orgasms we'd both had.

Realizing I was crushing her with my weight, I lifted myself a bit and kissed her. Her lips parted immediately, giving me entrance to her delectable mouth.

“You're beautiful.” I said after we broke the kiss, staring into her amber eyes.

“How do you know that? I'm still wearing my mask.” She said teasingly.

“I just know it.” I said. “You've seen my face. It's time for me to see yours.”

“Nope." She chuckled.

“No? You told me you would show me your face after we fucked.” I pointed out, feeling more frustrated than I'd ever felt in my entire life. “I need to see your face. Please let me see you, sweetheart.” I pleaded.

She stared at me for a few seconds before finally saying, “Okay.”

“Okay?” I asked.

“Yes." She nodded.

I could barely contain my excitement when she reached for her mask, finally ready to show me her face.

Just as she was about to take the mask off—

The incessant ringing of my doorbell woke me up from my dream. I lay in bed for several seconds, unable to believe that it'd all been a dream even though this was the same dream I'd been having for the past four months.

Yet this dream had been different. For the first time, she'd agreed to take off her mask. If only I hadn't woken up…

I suddenly felt pissed at whoever had dared to ring my doorbell and pull me out of my sleep. The person continued ringing the doorbell without stopping, irritating me even more. Gritting my teeth, I jumped out of bed and stormed out of my room to go see who it was.

This had better be important!

“I'm fucking coming!" I screamed when the person continued ringing the bell like a fucking maniac.

Getting to a door, I wrenched it open, and my irritation shot a thousand times higher when I realized it was my best friends at the door.

Raul, Alfred, and Ethan.

Of course it was these idiots!

“What the fuck is wrong with you?" I glared hard at them, particularly at Raul who still had his hand on the doorbell.

“What the fuck man? We've been ringing the bell forever.” Raul complained.

I scowled even harder at him. “And it didn't occur to you that I might not be around?”

“Well, we knew you were.” Alfredo, who was also Raul's stepbrother, said, making me turn my glare to him.

“Plus you weren't picking up your phone.” Raul added..

“Aww, so you guys came because you were worried about me?” I asked sarcastically.

Raul smiled sheepishly. “That, and because we want to go to The Storm.”

“You woke me up because you want to go to a fucking Nightclub?!” I sneered in disbelief.

The Storm was a popular nightclub that we went to often. It was highly exclusive and very hard to get inside.

“Jeez, chill man.” Raul raised both of his hands, backing away from me a bit. “Why are you so pissed? It's not like this is the first time we're doing this. You know you're the only one who can get us a pass into The Storm without having to wait in the queue. Besides, why are you sleeping at 9 pm–”

“Why am I so upset??? Because she was going to take off her mask! I was finally going to see her face. And you fucking woke me up.” I screamed and instantly regretted it.

“Adam, relax.” Ethan, the last guy in our friendship group stepped forward, placing his hand on my shoulder.

“Wait! Who was going to show you her face?” Alfred question.

I was going to ignore him until Raul said, “So it's true.”

I knew right then that they knew. Shocked, I looked at Ethan. “You told them?”

Irritation scrunched Ethan's face as he glared at Raul accusingly. “You told me you wouldn't bring it up until Adam told you himself!”

When he looked at me, guilt replaced the irritation on his face. “Look, Adam, I'm sorry. They noticed that you haven't been yourself in a while and they kept asking me about it. I couldn't keep it to myself anymore.”

“So you're angry because we woke you just when the mystery girl was going to show you her face?” Raul stared at me incredulously. ”In your dreams? Seriously? How would you even know that it's not just your mind creating a face?”

I wanted to say something, but all my comebacks evaporated because I knew he was right. How would I even know whether the face I saw in my dream was her real face when I never saw her face that night?

“This is getting serious, Adam." Ethan said, his brows pulling together in concern. “It's not funny anymore.”

“It was never funny to begin with!” I snapped, stepping back into my apartment. I hated the pity on my best friends' faces.

It's been four months. Four fucking months since I kissed the masked woman at the New Year's Eve masquerade party.

She ran away right after our kiss, not even telling me her name or letting me see her face. She didn't even ask for my name or ask to see my face either.

She just turned and ran away, and I never saw her again. Not at the party, not after that.

And since then, she's invaded every part of my mind. I constantly dream of her. Thoughts of her don't spare me even when I'm with other women.

She's like a ghost. Taunting me. Haunting me. Every damn day.

“But seriously, Adam, why didn't you ever tell us? It's been four months.” Raul asked as they followed me into my apartment. His voice vibrated with hurt, making me sigh.

“Because you guys would've turned it into a fucking joke and teased him about it.” Ethan said exactly what I was about to say.

That was exactly what the stepbrothers were like. They turned everything into a joke, especially Raul who didn't have any brain-to-mouth filter.

Among the four of us, Ethan was the most mature and the voice of reason. It was exactly why I told him about my issue and asked him not to tell Raul and Alfred.

“That's not fair.” Alfred shook his head in disagreement. “Sure, we would've teased you about it, but ultimately we've all got your back. Not just Ethan.”

He looked hurt, and it made me feel guilty, realizing that he was right.

“You promised me you wouldn't tease him if he told you guys.” Ethan warned, glaring at the stepbrothers.

“Of course, we won't tease him.” Alfred said.

“We won't." Raul agreed, an innocent look on his face.

I stared at him suspiciously. He was too much of a tease to let this pass.

“Cross my heart.” Raul said to convince me, making the exaggerated sign of the cross. It didn't even take a second before he burst out laughing.

See?

“Fuck, I'm sorry." He croaked after he'd had his fill of laughter. “It's just that I can't… I can't imagine you being so hung up on a woman. I mean, it's you we're talking about. Adam Garcia, extreme sports celebrity. You have women offering themselves to you on a silver platter, and yet… and yet… a single woman managed to get you hooked with a single kiss?”

And he burst out laughing again. This time, Alfred joined. Adam glared at them, irritated that they were making fun of him. But they weren't done.

"Damn, she must be super hot if you haven't been able to stop dreaming about her for four months." Raul teased.

"Either that or the Legend of The Kiss Of Eternal Love is real and Adam is going to stay in love with her forever!" Alfredo teased, and the stepbrothers burst out laughing again.

“Okay, are you guys going to tease him all night or are we going to The Storm?” Ethan snapped, obviously pissed off on my behalf.

“Let's go." Raul managed to say amid his laughter.

Gritting my teeth, I turned and stormed into my room to put on a shirt and a pair of shorts. My whole body was burning with irritation.

Raul was right. How could I have allowed one woman to mess me up so badly because of one stupid kiss?

When the dreams and thoughts of her began, I thought they would eventually go away. Four months later and it only seems to be getting worse.

I still remember the kiss like it was just yesterday.

What have you done to me, amber-eyed stranger?

Why can't I stop thinking about you?

Where the fuck are you?

Will I ever see you again?

Those questions played inside my head the whole time as Ethan drove us to The Storm nightclub.
