Chapter 29

      ⚜⚜  Home not so sweet home. ⚜⚜

I slowly opened my eyes and took in the surroundings. White walls, monitors beeping and the Iv bag and a tube from my nose made me realize I was in a hospital. "How did I get here?' I wondered.

My head felt heavy and I could not recall a thing and I wanted to get out as soon as possible. I slowly sat up, ignoring the pain in my arm. I tucked away from the few strands of hair behind my ear. Then it all hit me!!

My ear.

It had a bandage. I was shot and Derek?

I pulled out the IV line and felt a sharp pain which I ignored.

I wanted to see Derek.

I opened the door and rushed out and I was stopped by a nurse, "Ma'am, you can't be here!"

"I am looking for Derek? Do you know which room he is in or where I can find him?.."<
