Derek sat by the gazebo staring at Chloe's photo on his phone. He had secretly taken it while she was sleeping through Chloe didn't know. He remembered the day vividly, how they spent time together at the beach and how she gave herself to him and smiled at the thought.

He used to sleep around, for fun he would say or to pass time but Chloe McCarthy managed to tame his heart.
