Epilogue

Two years later

I watched Jimmy play around the garden with Ashley. It's very surprising how she grew fond of him. Just two years ago, I had a fight with Cardin about adopting him, I fight which I obviously won. I ruined his life by being the main reason why his parents died, the evidence of my recklessness marred his skin although his vampire trait tried healing him up, but yet not everything got wiped off.

As for Petrov, I don't really know what Cardin did to him. I never asked, but he came home countless nights with blood stained shirt.
