Two days later, and I'm yet to receive any news from Merissa. With her limited time here, I lost hope of finding Jimmy through her help. It took a lot of self restraint not to go meet her myself for any update, it will only make me come out as desperate which is an impression I do not ever want to make.

I dipped my head under water for few minutes, before resurfacing again. I did it the second time but this time, when I resurfaced, I saw Merissa standing at the edge of the pool. If Cardin should see her standing there, he'll snap her head off her neck without even bothering to find out what she's really doing here. To Cardin, she's just a carrier of negative vibes.

I swam towards the edge of the pool to meet her. "Cardin wouldn't appreciate seeing you anywhere around me, so what are you doing here?"

"I know he won't like me being around you, which is why I'm going to make this brief." She handed me a piece of paper "that's his address, if you want to meet him, you should go there
