13. Ken

Karen heard the doorbell ring.

'Who is there?' She called out from inside

'Who else, bitch' An arrogant voice replied

'urghhh' Karen screamed, realizing it was Ken.

Opening the door, she was greeted with a slide shove from ken. 'Really? is this how you normally get into someone's house? by shoving the person aside? without a simple hello! you lack manners boy.'

Ken took a glance at her

'let's get to work, girl. You know we can't stand each other for so long He said, ignoring her first statement.'

'Yes, that's true'

It was the first time, they both agreed on something.

'Let me quickly shower and change my outfit' Karen said, looking at herself from head to toe. she was still in her sportswear.

'Sit on the couch and don't move' She added, pointing to the davenport at the right side of the living room.

'Nice apartment and the decor is great' Ken spluttered out.

It came as a shock to her cos he was the last person she ever expected a compliment from.
