The darkness of midnight was their blanket. Twinkling stars and soft moonlight were alien to this piece of land.

Standing on land that rises higher than everything surrounding it, the air heavy and thick, protected by spells from the white witches in their ranks, gave the kings and leaders time to assess what was below them. Plans had been set into motion from the time they stepped out of portals.

A sea of depravity that was their enemy was an ominous scenery. The evil factions, ancient species rarely seen, rogues of vampire and wolf units, commandeered by Lord Warlocks and Fallen Angels were an ominous sight. Their combined power had been steadfast. Trying to chink the barrier preventing them from taking the queens. Gray and black, cloud-to-ground lighting struck the translucent barrier, barely cracking, bouncing back to their camps with a vengeance. These assholes had been trying to penetrate the dome for days.

The atmosphere was charged with their tainted energy.
