33. Insatiable
KPHey guys! I know it's been a while since I've updated. Though I am attempting to make my writing more of a priority, these next few weeks are going to be incredibly busy so it might be about a month before I can really dig in again. The good news is that I have started another book in while I'vebeen away (I can't help it that I write the story that the inspirationtells me too), but I am making sure I have that one completely finished before I start uploading chapters. LoL. I am so sorry for the inconvenience with this one and promise to get it finished as quickly as the creative bursts of inspiration allow me too. I don't want to short change you all by just getting through it for the sake of doing it. I hope you can all understand and be patient with me 💚

Josie I chugged the rest of my drink before handing the glass to the attendant that came to collect it before the jet started its landing. I wasn't normally a nervous flyer, but this destination brought out my anxiety something fierce. I should be in London, enjoying the next two weeks with a very handsome vampire and an adorable witch couple, but just after I'd processed all the items we brought back from our dig, the Dean of Divinity had called to tell me that there was an occult museum in New Orleans that wanted an expert consultation from me on an artifact that had been unearthed in the renovation of one of the older buildings. Perhaps if I was a normal archeologist, and not an occult specialist, I wouldn't be so nervous. Josie I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom, My aunt Kara, and my three cousins, Wren, Gwen and Quinn sitting at the breakfast bar. They all turned to look at me and I couldn't help but to notice how beautiful my cousins had become over the past 13 years. Wren and Gwen had been the ones that help my aunt Kara and my sister in law, Abby, steal my memories from me, and I could see their guilt in the way they couldn't even look me in the eyes. I didn't say anything to them as I stalked towards the coffee pot to make myself some coffee. Apparently she had agreed to the marriage as well, yet something still wasn't sitting right with me. I wanted to meet her, so that we both knew and understood what this pairing meant for our people, but the Queen Regent insisted that I meet with her at our hotel for lunch, before meeting the Queen at a dinner she would host later in the evening. Bryan Hours had passed since our lunch with the witches and the information they had revealed was still hanging over my parents and me as we rode in the SUV over to the home of the Queen Regent. Tonight I would meet the Queen of the Witches, and we would have time to talk about this arrangement we had both found ourselves thrown into. Sophia had warned us that her daughter was quite angry with the whole situation, but that it seemed her anger was mostly directed at her family and ancestors for their betrayal. Josie Realizing that the Alpha Prince was the same werewolf who had grabbed me by my throat sent a fury ripping through me that I hadn't even realized I had caged until I saw him smugly sitting at my dining room table. The entire situation pissed me of honestly, watching them all act as if everything was fine. Ofcourse it was fine for them, they all had their magic and their supernatural abilities that they were born with. They had nothing to fear or worry about, they had no idea what it felt to be weak and vulnerable.
