KPSorry for the break guys, but we are back! I am so excited to finish this story finally, after having to step back from my writing for a few months due to my life changing and evolving. Josie The entire packhouse stopped and stared. I knew it was because they were shocked to see their Alpha Prince with a human girl, but I didn't care. Bryan I let her think she was surprising me with the information about the Alpha, because the look on her face when she said it was just too adorable, like she was trying to surprise me. I also didn't want her to know I had listened in on a private conversation of hers. Then she just started rambling, honestly I think she was talking to herself more than the rest of us as she went on about Marisol's cancer and her cheating on Mateo with his mentor. I could see the wheels turning in her mind as it all started making sense to her, so I just let her continue on rambling. I got out of the sleigh and unhooked Andu from it, but as I went to hand him Bryan's clothes he nudged my hand that had been bleeding all evening for me to open it. Bryan I stepped off the plane into the humid Louisiana heat, already dreading what was to come. I had been dreading this day for two weeks now, ever since the Vampire King, Gerald, had suggested that we seek the help of the witches in our war against the demons. The witches were the only supernatural faction ever known to defeat the demons, and though that was almost 200 years ago, King Gerald had told us that their Queen had only gotten more powerful with every reincarnation since. Josie I chugged the rest of my drink before handing the glass to the attendant that came to collect it before the jet started its landing. I wasn't normally a nervous flyer, but this destination brought out my anxiety something fierce. I should be in London, enjoying the next two weeks with a very handsome vampire and an adorable witch couple, but just after I'd processed all the items we brought back from our dig, the Dean of Divinity had called to tell me that there was an occult museum in New Orleans that wanted an expert consultation from me on an artifact that had been unearthed in the renovation of one of the older buildings. Josie I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom, My aunt Kara, and my three cousins, Wren, Gwen and Quinn sitting at the breakfast bar. They all turned to look at me and I couldn't help but to notice how beautiful my cousins had become over the past 13 years.
