The Man Came Again

When Nala walks up to fetch fresh air, she feels the wind blowing at her nape. Making the uncomfortable feeling wrap tightly, she paused just to turn around and found no one there. Nala waits in case the man shows his nose. However, nothing happened.

The wind blows slowly stroking the smooth surface of her face, Nala draws a deep breath filling her lung cavity, and feels a scent that she knows very well. Nala's lips form a thin line, she is disappointed in Raymond not following her words.

"Just get out, Raymond!" commands Nala in her voice filled with disappointment.

Nala grunts, her hands stuffed into her gym pants pocket as she watches Raymond emerge from his hideout behind a tree shyly. Raymond even followed her barefoot.

"I told you to stay home," Nala said. She still feels the guilt that still lodges with Raymond because of the actual abusive behavior he didn't mean to be. Nala just didn't know what was wrong with her at the time, she just didn't seem to be part of the command of her brain. But it's all happened.

Raymond stands tall, he stares at Nala with fear firmly attached to her face as well as his hands intertwined with each other. "Ray wants to be with Nala."

Nala approaches Raymond and stares into his watery eyes, she's not supposed to be rude to him but with the disappointment that everyone does Nala doesn't even know what else to do. Daniel still locked himself in the room even though Nala hit the wall hard that night. Nala is very worried about what happened to Daniel.

"Raymond I'm just for a moment, strolling around here," explains Nala with her soft voice not wanting to make her increasingly afraid she's putting aside her feelings now. Nala looks around a quiet residential area. She pulled Raymond's wrists delicately onto a park chair near their stand.

"Nala wants to leave Ray?" asked Raymond noticing Nala's fingers were still tied around Raymond's big wrist. Nala let go and grabbed her wrist.

"I just took a walk for a while. Listen Raymond I'm sorry about last night. I don't want to be rude like that at all. It all just happened, I didn't want to do it at all but it all felt out of my control."

Raymond sighs after he hears Nala correctly, his sparkling pupils staring at him with pure earnestness. "No Nala. Ray's wrong. Ray can't tell Nala, Ray has promised that can't be denied. I'm sorry Nala for making Nala disappointed."

Nala's heart immediately feels pinched, how can she blame Raymond, and anyway Raymond is making promises to others that Nala doesn't know who. Nala just felt. She nodded weakly. "Can we just forget about this?"

Raymond nodded, his sparkling hair swaying in the sun following the movement of his head. Raymond said all of a sudden. "Daniel will be fine, Ray promises."

Nala sighs, she straightens her body making her sitting more comfortable. Honestly, Nala feels the strong bond wrapped around her chest slowly loose, believing only in Raymond's promise other than that what else can Nala do?

"So, now you have to go home," Nala turned to Raymond who shook his head. "Why wouldn't you? I want to be alone, I'll take you home."

"Ray wants to be with Nala all the time," he says lightly as if he has said it dozens of times in her life. Raymond also straightens his legs following how Nala sits next to her. "Nala wants to leave Ray alone?"

"No, I'm just out for a second."

"Ray doesn't want Nala to go alone." Raymond's eyes never escape Nala to make Nala squirm uncomfortable.

Nala turned her head away from Raymond, she sighed and got up. "All right, we're home now."

Instantly Nala was hit by the scent again right on her face stronger than before. Nala's knees became limp until she finally returned to sit in the chair with a gasp. She had no idea what was wrong with her when she smelled the scent that was pouring from Raymond's body but why was her reaction like this?

She breathes as little air as possible. Nala's cheeks were flushed, not because a gentle glowing sun hit her skin. However, this happens because it is completely different.

"Nala, what's going on?" asked Raymond staring at Nala worriedly, Raymond's hand raised in the air to touch her, but he quickly lowered his hand. But Nala quickly shakes her head, to answer Raymond while clearing her mind.

"Nothing. Just what's wrong with you?" Nala turned back asking a little choke while sweeping a few strands of hair that tickled her face.

Raymond looked at Nala with his eyes widening in shock and hastily answered. "What's wrong with Ray, Nala?"

Nala breathes the air slowly as the sweet scent that radiated from Raymond's body becomes smoother than before, she shakes and slowly she rises to her feet. "Nothing, it's just my mind. We'd better get home soon."

Raymond stands by her side, Nala glances to find Raymond's agitated behavior. "Nala is disturbed by smell—,"

"No, let's go," Nala cuts quickly not wanting Raymond to continue with his words, Nala blushing in shame of herself. Then she realizes that Raymond didn't wear footwear until he got here, following Nala like an inexperienced stalker.

Raymond walks next to Nala, his steps are short even though Raymond's legs are long and look strong. He occasionally touches Nala's arm almost by accident and Nala feels the stare from time to time during their journey home, but when Nala turns to him, Raymond turns his eyes. "What's up Raymond?"

Raymond stopped him staring at Nala with pupils of different colors widening, looking like he was doing something wrong. However, he replied with a small shake.

Nala shrugs indifferently, as they a few more feet up in the yard of the house. Raymond suddenly moves forward in front of her.

"Why are you here?" Nala shudders a little to hear how different the tone Raymond uses, sharp and cold. Nala peeks out from behind Raymond's back and feels her throat choked when she sees the silver-haired man but the wings he has do not come out from behind his back. The man stepped firmly on the ground, his chin raised and his sharply squinting eyes filled with hatred that seemed to seep into his veins.

"I want to see." The man's eyes intersect with Nala's, he grinned and formed a slanted smile. Raymond growls and will be ready to attack the man at any time, when Raymond is about to come forward, Nala closes her body to Raymond's side and grasps her wrist firmly preventing anything that can happen.

"Go!" commands Raymond more slowly and quietly through his deep voice.

The man seemed unfazed by Raymond as he stepped forward to be right in front of Raymond. His jaw hardens with a piercing sharp stare and forms a slanted grin. "Watch your position before expelling me. You are no lesser than this man, there and here you are only a slave of a messenger or even a pet?"

Raymond seemed tense in Nala's arms, it quickly ignited her anger at how could this man have such a bad word. Nala felt her chest tight to hear the sentence and her eyes became hot.

"Who are you who just came to insult him? You are the one who is humble with your words. It's not that Daniel has warned you there's no place for you here even for you to talk," Nala gasps after she finishes her sentence, Nala's face blushing with blazing anger even though she doesn't know for sure about this man's problems with Raymond and Daniel.

The man turns his gaze to Nala and with Nala's anger, she dares to confront him. Nala stares back at the man defiantly.

"How dare you man speak to me." The man growls, hands on the sides of his body clenched. "You start dipping yourself into trouble, let's see what happens."

Raymond still has the full awareness to pull Nala behind his back.

The man chuckles later in a flash his face into a flat mask as he puts his focus back on Raymond. "Is he the one you're going to kill next?"
