Chapter 68: Jealous Christian.

“Thank you,” she said excitedly as she collected the key from the man and rushed to open the door. Her relief knew no bounds when the door clicked and she opened it.

“Thank you once again,” Mabel said to the man. Maybe the universe didn’t hate her that much. Before the man could say anything, Mabel noticed a car which she recognized as Christian’s car.

As soon as the car stopped, Christian came out and his eyes landed on the man who had come looking for his helper.

Mabel stared at the ground and fidgeted nervously. She couldn't tell what was going on in his mind as he had his normal expression on his face but she felt like he was mad.

For some reason, she felt like she had been caught doing something bad even though she had done nothing wrong.
