“That’s sweet, especially coming from the same person who drank alcohol despite knowing she wasn't supposed to drink it,” Christian rolled his eyes as he walked past her to pick up his phone which he had sighted.

“I’m a nobody with no caring family but you’re not, don’t compare yourself to me, sir,” Mabel retorted. Her family wouldn’t care if she lived or died but the same wouldn’t apply to Christian who had a loving family.

“Please, just go home and rest,” she pleaded with him, worry evident in her voice.

"I'm fine, Pearson, it's honestly not a big deal," Christian stated nonchalantly as he started to go through the emails he had received while he was asleep.

He had gone through the same ordeal countless times and so it was nothing new to him nor was it something he was worried about.
