57~ Prophecy

It had been two months since the twins were born. Two months of happiness and peace. There were no witches and no curses to keep us on edge. Just my queen, the twins and I against the world. In short, life was perfect. 

I never knew parenthood could be so involving and tiring. The first six weeks with the little trouble makers were a series of major ups and downs, a mixture of hectic and sweet moments. It was hectic due to the sleepless days and nights, the intense crying almost every minute and being extra careful when carrying the floppy-necked beings or their heads would tilt the wrong way. Sweet in the sense that they were the greatest gift Rosaria had given me and I loved taking care of them. 

I'm happy to say I was a hands-on dad. I made sure to be at the centre of all the babies chaos, being elbow deep in dirty diapers and I had learnt how to burp a baby in under a minute. All these including, reading them stories, bathing them, coo
