Chapter 8

The kiss makes me feel weak. I hated this feeling. Alpha Jace shouldn't kiss the hell out of me. I have to do something, but I hate to admit that I was almost carried away by his kiss. However, I won't let him allure me.

Using my full force, I pushed him away and slapped him in the face.

“What was that for?” He asked, feeling annoyed.

“You have no right to kiss me. Did you understand that?” I asked, but the jerk just smirked at me. He even crossed his arms like he wasn't affected by my words.

“I can't promise you, Margaux. Your lips were tempting me and I honestly… I missed you.” He said that made my hands clenched into fists while my teeth gritted in anger.

“The audacity? After everything you did to me, Alpha Jace, you have no rights to touch me. I am telling you that the Margaux before was different because I'm bolder and tougher now. You can't fool me. Not anymore.” I responded in my cold tone.
