I loved to see the reaction on Alpha Jace's face. Seeing how he was so surprised makes me happy.

“I can't do that, Margaux…” He muttered that made me shake my head.

“See? You can't even do that. I don't understand why I am still wasting my saliva on you. Talking to you is nonsense.” I muttered, and with that, Alpha Jace sighed.

“I can't withdraw from my position because that was very important for me. All the werewolves here are needing me.” He said, and I just looked at him.

His eyes seemed pleading with me, but I am numb. I won't give him a chance.

“That only means, you are not sincere with your apologies. I just want to let you know, Alpha Jace, that I couldn't forgive you. The pain you have given to me was still there in my heart.” I muttered and turned my head away.
