I hate her

After dress shopping two days ago, I avoided Summer like the plague, or maybe she ignored me, but I was glad I didn't see her.

I had had enough of her antics to want to put up with more.

Also, I was glad I finally got to take the dress of my choice, even though she didn't like it.

"A penny for your thoughts?"

I cringed and gasped. And my eyes strayed to Slade as he appeared at my back. "Fúck it, Slade. I hate that!"

"You cuss too?" He tilted perfect slender brows. The most flawless brow I had ever seen and the one I wouldn't get even if I tried.

Also, Slade had ridiculously long lashes for a man.

"Am I not allowed to?" Slade tapped his chin and shook his head. His eyes narrowed again on mine, and he continued staring at me until I was uncomfortable.

"I hate when you do that," I grumbled.
