Chapter seventy-four - I don't like it when you cry

The days passed and the weight of the young couple's decisions was haunting them more and more. Adam carried the weight of having hidden something so important from his girlfriend and now having to put up with her passing him around the house and not even looking her in the eye. He then realized that he preferred Lillian extremely irritated with him to indifferent. She was dealing with the decision to let him go and not go after him, to see the great love of her life with whom she will have an eternal connection "not necessarily for the children" leave and not be able to go with him, to see the person who loves most in the world to go far away.

Ignoring Adam in the halls of that huge house was a hard task for Lillian, seeing him walking with his head down and not being able to say that everything was going to be okay since even she didn't believe it would be, it was hard. But she had already decided and she didn't usually go back, nor was it in her plans.
