Chapter Seventeen - What have I done?

The next day I woke up before the alarm clock, oddly enough. I took a shower, did my hygiene and went down to prepare my breakfast "this time dressed". I was happy, I think that being well with Adam, well with Geneva, ​​... I had finally achieved stability.

After breakfast, I still had time to wash the dishes before leaving the house. I take a taxi and head to the company, listening to random music playing through the headphones in my ears along the way.

Arriving at the building, I greet the kind doorman, shortly after I enter the elevator that is already occupied by two other people. I smile at them and they smile back. One of them goes down on the next floor and the other, two above.

When the elevator finally stops at the top floor, I get off, greet Geneva, ​​and head straight to my office.

As usual, it's a busy day, I have several reports, some in progress, others to start but I'm still interrupted by turning on the computer. It's two knocks before my boss walks in without even giv
