After the argument that night, Henry and I seemed to return to the days before we got married.

When I saw Scarlett's late-night drunken posts on social media, I knew she was losing her composure as well. I became increasingly clingy to Henry, pouring my heart out to him at home while I constantly checked on him when he was away.

He went from enjoying it at first to gradually being perfunctory.

I knew he had resumed contact with Scarlett. As I seemed even more reluctant to leave him than before, his wandering heart began to stir once again.

Reading through Scarlett's updates, I found that she had adopted a ragdoll kitten.

"I envy that cat for carrying so many memories of you. Even though I'm allergic, I still want to experience more beautiful moments with you. Fortunately, I have you to take care of us."

I clenched my fists. I somehow felt sorry for Henry for finding a cat that looked almost identical to Kitty. We continued to live our days without much excitement.
