His Face Would Upset Him

Hadley looked at Maurice keenly and she almost laughed out loud but seeing the man's weary eyes were not holding signs of jokes she decided to spell it out.

"What? You really meant it?" Hadley asked and Maurice nodded his head.

"Yes, I want to have kids with you," he says and Hadley looks at him rather weirdly.
