Devin' POV:

I knew the woman had a bad relationship with her mate and might need some help, so I told Aaron about her befall without permission.

But I didn't expect that one day I would see her lying unconsciously on the road. Her clothes were almost torn to pieces, and there were wounds all over her body, looking extremely fragile. It was as if she would die soon.

The moment she saw me, she felt a little panic, but she was relieved quickly and tugged at my clothes tightly. Her eyes were full of indescribable emotions.
