CHAPTER 1

“SERIOUSLY, babe? Stop joking around!” I hissed. Throwing to his face the paper he handed me. What the f*ck is he thinking? 

“I’m sorry babe, but you’re already married to my boss.” He said while his head bowed. 

“Stop pranking me! Is this one of your typical pranks again?!” I hissed. I don’t know what to feel right now. I can’t think straight. I want to curse. I want to yell. F*ck!

“I’m sorry. I don’t have many choices.” He said while avoiding my gaze.

“Explain yourself,” I said calmly but f*ck, I’m f*cking losing my patience now.

“You know my boss. He’s… He’s looking for someone to marry, and… And… And he… He asked me to find him, someone, to marry.” He said, still avoiding my gaze.

“And you f*cking offer me without asking my consent?” I hissed. He clasped my hands. And he raised his gaze and looked into my eyes. 

“We both know he likes you and… And you know that I’m… I’m indebted to him. So… So to be able to pay him I… I-”

“You think it’s a f*cking good idea to use me as a payment?!” I hissed, cutting his words and he nodded. 

“Explain that f*cking marriage contract!” I hissed, removing his clasped hands into mine. And I pointed to the papers that were scattered on the floor. 

He bowed his head and played with his fingers.

“I offered you to him and he said he loves to have you. I asked him to have a deal with me. I told him if I let him marry you he would forget my debts and pay me 50 million and he agreed.” I clasped my mouth because of what I heard. He f*cking sold me? He f*cking used me as a payment.

“The marriage contract it’s… It’s legal. I… I-”

“You didn’t!” I yelled while pointing at him. Don’t tell me he used his profession to manipulate things. F*ck.

“I processed everything. Remember last Friday when you were drunk I asked you to sign something. It’s the contract which my boss signed. Then I processed it as fast as I could.” He said then he slowly smiled then he laughed. He’s laughing like crazy. I frowned on my forehead because of curiosity.

“What the hell are you laughing at?! You think it’s a good joke?!” I hissed, pushing him through his chest and I slapped him. He glared at me.

“They will fetch you tomorrow. You can’t hide, they'll kill me. Don’t run away. Remember because of me you are alive. You and your mother have a huge debt to my family. My family raised you always remember that. It’s time for you to pay us. Thank you for making me rich. Take a rest.” He said then he kissed my forehead before he walked out of my room.

My knees weakened causing me to sit down on the floor. I bend my knees and hug them. I buried my face into my palm and I bow down my head to my knees.

What has happened? He sold me. He used me. Tears keep flowing down my cheeks. Is it my faith? I’m married for godd*mn sh*t! Why did he do this to me? I trusted him. My parents entrusted me to him. What happened to us? I want to yell. I want to get wasted. I want to go ballistic. 

I’m f*cking married to someone whom I don’t love. The man whom my parents entrusted me tricked me. The pain is killing me. My boyfriend sold me to his boss. What’s the worst it can be? The man whom I treasure the most sold me. It’s worse than killing me. I kept crying for hours. I lost count of the time. Until everything turned black.

JANEAH fell asleep while crying for hours. Janeah Stanila is a twenty three years old model. Her mother died when she was fifteen years old. Her mother works as a maid in the family of Pote. Janeah never met her father so he doesn’t have anyone to live with. 

The Pote family decided to adopt and raise her. The Pote family is an average type of family. They are not rich yet they are not poor. That’s where she met her boyfriend Green Pote. Green is the only son of the Pote. 

Green Pote is a twenty four years old Lawyer and a CEO’s substitute secretary of a well-known company named Abchanchu Corporation. Green is an ambitious man, all his life he always wanted to earn tons of money. That’s the reason why he asked Janeah to enter the modeling industry. 

The Pote family has been controlling Janeah’s life since the day her mother died. Janeah can’t do anything because she is bound to their family and she loves Green as much as she loves herself that’s why she’s willing to do everything to make Green happy. 

She’s been in a relationship with Green for five years; they've been together since the day Janeah turned eighteen years old. They’ve been happy being with each other but some things have changed since five months ago when Green’s mother died.

After the burial of his mother, all of their family debts came out. It turns out that the reason why her mother died is because of too much stress and her heart wasn’t able to accept it all. 

Green’s father Adan Pote has been into gambling and he gambled all of their properties. His father has been indebted twenty five million to Abchanchu Co. Abchanchu Co is the boss of Green, the person who bought his girlfriend Janeah. 

For Green, there’s no such thing as important as money. Green will do everything to become rich even though it will cost him to sell drugs. That’s why he doesn’t care about what Janeah would feel when he sold her to his boss. For Green money means power.
