Damian POV

I watched her perfect ass walk to the bathroom. I had to hide a laugh as her legs were still shaking. I needed a minute. Sitting on the couch, my mind went over the last few hours. I wasn’t sure what happened but when I saw Dax’s ghost, my heart sank. Then he had the little boy but the worst part was that Sarah wasn’t shocked to see him. She knew he was there. She must have talked to him. I tried to keep the doubt from filling me that she would have chose him.

“Damian.” A voice I thought I’d never hear again was clear as day.

My head instantly shot up. I was in complete disbelief to see Dax standing in front of me. My mouth opened a few times but nothing came out.”Wa-”

“The Moon Goddess is allowing me a five minute visit. I came to tell you that she is all yours. She has accepted I died and she loves you with her whole heart. I was never meant to live through this.
