Haunting Murders

Deep in thought, he scanned the pictures of the unsolved murders. Gruesome pictures from a sick minded killer who had posed them were scattered all over his desk. Thomas knew that there always was a pattern for serial killers. Same age, sex or even hair color. But nothing was the same.

He was confused because he knew that he to be missing altogether but he had no idea. Calling it quits for the night Thomas dragged himself home half past two in the morning. He knew as he put the key in the lock that Chester would come running down the hallway tail wagging letting out his sleepy bark.

Seeing Chester every day brought back happier times for him. His mother Emily had given him Chester for his 21st birthday.
