Chapter Thirty Six

Unwound Destany

Megan stood outside of the ER department with dried tears on her cheeks waiting for Thomas. There had been another dead body, and this time it was someone from Megan’s past. David had been in the navy and was known around the hospital as Dr. Struggles. He was one of the doctors that had been on the oldest destroyers. He had a way doing things, and if you didn’t follow them to the letter, he would get bent out of shape. Many people would describe him as Dr. Doolittle from the original movie.

When Megan had first met him, he had made her feel stupid. She had learned that was his nature, and he never meant any harm by it. When she had the chance to work with him, she jumped at it. He taught her something new every day and Megan liked it that way. Soon Megan had begun having a meeting that would show what the Dr was showing her and how it would apply to the everyday.
