NOAH POV

“Everywhere is drop-dead silent, no moving bodies, everyone stands in a frozen state.

I look up and glare at the culprits.

“I'm sorry Alpha.” Both the witch and werewolf say while my second in command just smirks.

It's obvious that both the witch, Zara, and the werewolf, Druid, were dueling seriously, and the spear was enchanted.

Still, with a hard face, I look around to find the entire place in a mess, with weapons scattered around.

“Clean this up,” I say, which they hurriedly did, they know well enough that I don't need to give a verbal warning, the look is enough to tell them it shouldn't happen again.

I look up the stairs to find Liam still standing with that foolish smirk on his face. It's a wonder I've tolerated his insolence this long.

He has been there through every single thing that's why I give him the benefit of doubt and that's why he is my beta, the second in command.
