CHAPTER TEN

JASMINE’S POV

I wake up feeling extremely relaxed, more relaxed than I’ve been since I can remember. I turn slowly, enjoying the softness of the bed, standing up lazily with the mindset of preparing for work, I take in my environment and shock settles in as I realize I’m not in my room. I turn and look at the bed I’m still sitting on, it has a grey cover and I don’t own any grey covers.

I stand up immediately and then it dawns on me that I don’t know where I am. Looking from black curtains to the grey bedsheets, to the extremely dark and manly interior decoration.

Was I kidnapped?

I search for the door in this very huge room and I walk speedily to it when I see it, turning the handle only to find out that it is locked, I jiggle it fiercely but it doesn’t budge.
