Alana (POV)I woke to find myself alone and tested myself as I slowly sat up. There was a little dizziness, but it was manageable. I put my legs over the side of the large bed and looked around. Gabriel (POV)I had her things packed up and brought over from the hotel across the street. After she ate her sandwich, Alana took a leisure bath crawled back under the covers on my large bed, and fell back to sleep. I set my advanced alarm system to my penthouse, which is attached to my smartwatch to signal me if it goes off. I opened the secret wall to the stairs that lead up to the roof. I have a small shed up there where I would change out of my clothes. Alana (POV)I woke up took a shower and changed into fresh clean clothes. I found a note on a table in the living area from Gabe. He explained about the high-tech alarm system he has and that he had no choice about not missing an important meeting with a new client. I decided to check out the kitchen and plan to surprise Gabe with a home-cooked meal. It was the least I could do with all he has done for me. The food in the freezer was so full of meat.
