A few days later I finally sat down at my computer with my mate on my lap. I thought it was time I finally introduce her to my brothers and their mates.

“You actually marked her?” Gabe asked looking a little concerned. “You know why we didn’t plan to mark them.”

“I know but she needed healing and it worked. There were no side effects.” I said as my arm tightened around my mate.

“What side effects?” She asked panicking.

“Nothing, just we didn’t know how the venom will react to humans.”

“And you took the chance with me?” Her voice went up an octave.

“I had faith and besides as my mate the venom we share, you will now live as long as we do,” I said to reassure her.

“What?” Alana gasped.

“What do you mean?” Kellie asked.

“Way to go Chase.” Said, Mitch.

“They need to know. You know it wouldn’t be fair to them as we stay young as they get older. I don’t know about you, but I want my mate around as long as I am around.”
