Chapter 19 Micah had shifted and was running full tilt through the cemetery trying to find Alicia. He was starting to understand Damon’s frustration with her always running off. Chapter 20 Craven stood on the roof of a large mausoleum at the back edge of the cemetery watching the battle unfold from a distance. Night Hawk stood silently beside him with an impassive expression on his face. They had no plans to get involved with this battle… they were merely waiting for the outcome. There were too many demon hunters scattered throughout the graveyard and Craven had no wish to engage them at this time. The power inside the mausoleum shifted a bit and Craven looked down at the roof where he was standing. The master demon of this graveyard was inside, creating its hideous offspring by the droves. Chapter 21 Jason was running across the cemetery, following the lure of the ring Tiara had given him. He couldn’t explain exactly how, but the ring seemed to be leading him toward her. If he changed direction, the light of the ring would dim until he turned back in the right direction. Before long he could see tell-tale signs of Zachary’s work. One whole area of the cemetery was a smoldering expanse of… nothing. There were dips in the ground where trees had been burned right down to their roots and the places where grave markers had stood where nothing but small holes. Chapter 4 Guy followed Tiara down the steps that had been cut into the side of the cliff through a combination of human hands and natural forces. He silently followed his target down to the private beach. Tiara’s form came into view on the sand and he paused near the bottom long enough to look down on her lithe form.
