NARRATOR'S POV.What woke her up the next day after she returned from her vacation with Ron wasn't the alarm. It was Delores knocking on the door. She had told the girl about her return immediately Ron dropped her off last night so she wasn't surprised that the girl was standing infront of her door the very next day. When she woke up, she grudgingly went to open the door for the knocker because she knew it was Delores. The morning was sunless but it was not too cold either, the temperature was just okay. NARRATOR'S POV.The huge front door suddenly flew open, causing her to shudder and drop the vase that was in her hands. She looked at the direction of the door and she saw her daughter walk in, furiously. The girl was visibly upset and her mother could not help but notice how red her face and ears were. Immediately Lauren Miller got into her house, she quickly rushed to the stairs, hoping to ascend up to her room but her mother's call stopped her. She turned around and for the first time since she came into the house, she noticed that her mother was there. She noticed the broken vase at the feet of her mother and she noticed how worried the woman looked. She walked to where the woman was standing. "Yes mother." Lauren broke the silence."Are you alright, Lauren?" Her mother asked."Why will I be?" Lauren answered."What is wrong?" Her mother asked again."Oh mother. Guess who I saw at Ron's office today?... The sudden sound of the door hitting the wall woke him up and he sprang up on the bed swiftly, looking at the direction of the door. It was his father, the man was the one who barged into his room, flung his door open so hard it hit the wall. His father was still in his night garments, a pajamas. The man was equally looking angry, upset and disappointed. Ron could see the man's face and ears burning up and the shade of red on them was so bright, smoke was coming out of the man's ears. Behind the man was his mother. She was in her red, silk night robe and she looked - scared. The man did not stop at barging into his room, his father walked over to him on the bed and delivered on his face, a hard, jaw breaking blow. The blow was a hard one and it knocked Ron over on the bed, he fell face flat on the bed. He could taste the blood in his mouth and he could see the crimson hue drag from his mouth and drop on the white sheets on the bed. He could feel the aching of the fresh wound in his

Two knocks on the huge door was all it took for the servants to open it up. It was a middle aged woman dressed in a maid's attire that opened the large doors of the Miller family mansion to Gladys Diego. Gladys recognized the maid immediately. She was Susan, the Miller family house keeper. Immediately the woman saw that it was Gladys who was knocking on the door, she opened the door wider for the woman to walk into the house and Gladys did. "Good day, Mrs Diego." The housekeeper finally greeted Gladys when she had securely locked the door again."Good day, Susan. Is Mr Miller in?" Gladys responded."Oh surely. Let me go tell him you are waiting." The housekeeper replied.The maid turned around swiftly and ascended the stairs. Gladys still stood at the spot where the maid left her at. She could not help but notice the cold welcome and how she wasn't offered even a seat and she was a lier if she said she didn't know why. But that is why she was there in the first place. She did not reply."Now let me tell you, flirt with Ron all you want but I assure you that at the end of the day, I will get his ring and last name."Sarah did not reply to that either.
