“ Tomiwa” Daniel began. “It’s not safe around here at this time of the night. Please I think it’s time you..”
“Don’t give me that bull, Dan.” Tomiwa retorted shocking the duo. Tomiwa wasn’t known to cuss that much. She was definitely pissed and by her rushed breaths, it was enough evidence.
“I don’t know what the both of you do every night. Frankly, that’s your concern but Dan, I need to know what’s happening here. Why are you two here and where is Jake?” she continued.
Daniel sighed and glanced at Annabelle. He could see a worried look scarring her facial features and he wasn’t feeling better. Why now of all times did tomiwa have to show up and what excuse were they going to give now. To make matters worse, it looked like she wasn’t leaving anytime soon.

“Doctor, how is his condition?” Daniel asked a woman who had just come out from the ward. She was wearing light spectacles and a lab coat. And she looked like she was in her mid 40s. The crew had arrived at the hospital just in time and Jake was rushed in for treatment. His parents were notified by Esther and they quickly arrived like the speed of lightening. So far, there was no ounce of happiness or excitement in the room. Mrs Adewale was seated on a chair, sobbing gently. Esther sat beside her and put an arm around her in a comforting fashion. Daniel leaned forward and rested his hands on the cool tiles of the wall as the water cascaded down his body. He sighed in relief and satisfaction at the moderate temperature of the water. Neither hot or cold. He was currently at home taking his bath as he didn’t think going back to school was necessary. A lot had happened from his time in the hospital to now. Luke paced around restlessly in his abode. It had been two days since he sent Chris and Angela to escort the rest of the coven. If his calculations were correct, they should be here by now. He moved to the window and glanced out. The night was still young as the streets was still buzzing with activities.
