Esther moaned in pain as she came to consciousness. “What happened?”

Here in question was a spacious room with lots of boxes around her, the only other object occupying the room was a dim bulb which glowed above her head producing the sole source of illumination in the otherwise dark room. She tried to move and discovered to her horror that she was confined to a chair and bound with ropes which restricted her movements. She drew her head back and let out a huge sigh of frustration.

Daniel leaned forward and rested his hands on the cool tiles of the wall as the water cascaded down his body. He sighed in relief and satisfaction at the moderate temperature of the water. Luke paced around restlessly in his abode. It had been two days since he sent Chris and Angela to escort the rest of the coven. If his calculations were correct, they should be here by now. He moved to the window and glanced out. The night was still young as the streets was still buzzing with activities.
