"Huh, why bother with people's lives?"

Rayyan was astonished. However, there was something else that made him curious. Not what Raga had explained. Rather, something that provoked him to find out the intricacies of the family. He could have asked Raga about Kean's family. Surprisingly, it was undone.

"Ah forget it! I'm getting a headache myself!"

"What are you doing?" Karina, the younger sister, was sitting on the terrace, wondering as she observed Rayyan's behavior as he entered the yard. talking to himself.

"Noisy!" sneered Rayyan.

"People asking questions are considered noisy!" Karina scowled in annoyance. "And I didn't ask while shouting, right?"

"Yes, yes, yes," Rayyan replied with a sneer.

Karina was annoyed and thoughtlessly threw the thick novel she had been holding at Rayyan's head. After succeeding, she quickly took the novel and went to her room.

"Having a little sister is so annoying!" Rayyan squealed, rubbing his head.

Rhevina, the mother, sighed in resignation. Seeing the behavior of her two children, sometimes they could get along. Also, not getting along. Once, it was very noisy throughout the house because of the two children's quarrels over trivial matters.

At night, Kean, who was wearing all black clothes. Was entering the yard of a large house, precisely the Demoniac family. At the front, it looked like an ordinary house generally inhabited by servants, occasionally the master came for certain things only. In fact, there was another house.

In the center was another building, specifically a house for the bodyguard and other servants. The distance is very far from the regular house area—a form of disguise to blend in with ordinary citizens. Meanwhile, at the end is the real family area. In fact, it had its own gate and could not be entered other than the Demoniac family and the servants as well.

The mafia boss who made a deal with Kean this time, was doing business in the dark and ordinary world. Whenever he had an ordinary business meeting, it would be held in an ordinary house—in the front. If it's a meeting about a dark world auction. Then it would be held in the main house—the original house area.

The design is very different from the ordinary house, the main house is more monochrome and gripping. It is filled with statues of real people who have died and been preserved. Perhaps, the statue is of a subordinate or servant who made a fatal mistake? Or their enemies who were successfully killed. Since they want to decorate their house with statues, instead of wasting money, it's better to preserve the corpses of their victims, right?

One of the very different and vicious thoughts of a person living in the dark world, that's what Kean always knew every time he was hired.

"I thought you weren't coming?" Alex the boss. "Tired?" The reason was, every time they made a deal and met. Kean refused to be picked up by men or servants.

"No."

Alex chuckled. "Ah just remembered, you're anti-vehicle huh?"

Kean chuckled, hating the idea of small talk the most.

Alex was silent, his demeanor slowly reverting to his original self. Firm, ruthless too, and not willing to lose. "You're staying here for a month. So, it's not complicated to start tomorrow."

"Dark business or regular?"

Alex cleared his throat softly. "Ordinary, this time it's a bit complicated although for me it's not. It's just annoying to let it get worse."

Kean was still quietly listening.

"Someone's trying to cheat to take the position." Alex glanced at Kean, still completely unconcerned. Essentially just obeying. "If you become my right-hand man, surely they'll stop cheating."

Alex did not reveal the family's true identity, which was the profession in the dark world. Only, revealing the family's usual identity in business was safe. That's why, if he hire Kean. Surely, those who try to cheat will back off.

"If the reaction is unexpected, you just eliminate it."

"Just the owner of the company?" In the end, Kean spoke up.

"Yes, but the ones who collaborated on the underhanded plan as well." Alex was only fed up with the boss—owner. His family? Never mind, there was no point in killing a family anyway. Unless it was to be auctioned off.

After that, Alex left. Kean? Chose to wander around the Demoniac family's vast grounds.

"Dad hired a robot like you again?"

Kean was about to continue wandering, but was now forced to stop his steps, and glanced flatly. Lexio was a 13-year-old teenager, Alex's youngest son who became his boss within a month. Whenever he made a deal, Lexio immediately approached to start a small conversation with him, though it ended up being ignored.

Against small talk, including pleasantries. That's why he chose to ignore him. His eyes darted in the other direction for a moment, no sign of the two eldest children—twins to be exact. Only Lexio, using the free hour as extra practice.

Lexio chuckled, ignored by Kean again. "Real robots in human form! There really are!" he sneered.

Gosh darn it! Intentionally sneering and still being ignored!

Sickening! Lexio chose to continue her training. For some reason, he turned around again and actually stood in front of Kean—deliberately blocking his path.

"Want to join the shooting practice?" asked Lexio as if bored, having been alone all this time. "Wait! Can you use a rifle? Or a pistol first?" He remembered that the robot was none other than Kean. Always killing his targets with his bare hands, once using a weapon it was only a penknife or dagger.

Kean didn't answer, but shrugged.

"You can talk, right?" Lexio was annoyed, every time he tried to have a friendly conversation with Kean, he was always silenced.

"Noisy!" hissed Kean.

"Come along!" Lexio was already behind Kean and pushed him into the training room.

****

Kean stared at the target for a moment, then glanced at the pistol in his black-gloved hand. There were still a few other rifles on the push table, practicing shooting with various weapons. Until he finds the right one, he will only focus on one rifle. That's fine, go back and try something else.

It was true, he could be said to have never used any rifle to kill a target. This was the first time, just for fun. It seemed forced, Lexio who asked at the same time accompanied the training.

There was a loud sound from the successive shots Lexio made at the target, then glanced at Kean who still hadn't tried.

"You're not only anti-vehicle, you're also anti-gun?" she said.

"Maybe."

Lexio winced, once answered it would be very short. Somewhat surprised, when Kean shot the target precisely. In fact, this was her first time using a rifle.

How annoying is that?

Lexio alone took a long time to be able to shoot properly, the beginning of practice kept missing. In fact, he was often the subject of ridicule from his two crazy twin brothers. Plus, Alex's gaze thought he would never be a reliable shooter.

Annoyed? That's why Lexio chose to practice alone in free time. During the original training hours, he only observed the shooting methods of her subordinates and the two twin brothers. His efforts were not bad, he no longer missed and was getting used to one rifle. In fact, he wanted to try other rifles as well.

"How come you got it right away?" Lexio still didn't accept it.

Kean shrugged. "The point is to hit the target, right?" While stepping towards the exit, yep Kean only tried for a while.
