Hundred and Sixty One

After the chaos, we finally made it home. I towered over Temmy, watching her closely as she slept.

She looked incredibly peaceful, a huge contrast to her earlier behavior. But I didn't blame her for that. It wasn't her fault. I could only hope that she was back to normal.

Speaking of the incident, I reached for my neck, the exact place where Temmy bit me and absentmindedly caressed it. I wasn't sure if she realized that she marked me which was a way to stake her claim on me.

I felt giddy that she remembered me even while struggling with demons. She choose me even while she wasn't in her right frame of mind. I could only hope and pray that she doesn't regret it because then, I wouldn't know how to act.

I was glad that no substantial harm was inflicted on anyone as it would have made matters worst. Thinking back, Hailey suddenly crossed my mind so I left to check up on her but not before placing a kiss on Temmy's forehead.
